Members of Tekeurope’s social media team have been undertaking online training courses as the company continues to expand its presence online.
The seminars, which under normal circumstances take place in person, focussed on social media marketing and audience engagement. From having no active social media platforms as recently as August 2020 the company now has pages on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin which are all updated regularly.

As well as allowing Tekeurope to keep customers up to date with company news, social media has presented new opportunities with regards to recruitment and sales. Potential customers and suppliers have been in contact through social media and job adverts posted on Facebook and Linkedin have led to new staff being hired. The platforms have also proven a good place to share less work related aspects of the company, with posts about charity appeals, company trips and regular updates regarding Tekeurope’s film club.
There has been a company wide focus on continuous training and investing in staff. In the finance department former apprentices continue to gain AAT qualifications, the company’s engineers have undertaken a number of HP certifications and several members of staff have been sponsored to gain their forklift licenses.
